The Callassian Association for the Renovation of Cultural Heritage aims to preserve, restore and enhance the public heritage of the municipality of Callas and the private heritage, in close coordination with the owners and the competent authorities.

The objectives of protection and promotion of public heritage are very broadly aimed at all elements of historical, cultural, land, built or natural heritage, as well as all activities supporting such objectives.

The association also aims to maintain the memory of any cultural, social, historical or other fact that has characterized or marked the life of the municipality of Callas. We want to use the traces left by our elders to beautify our village.

LAVOIR DE LA FONT DES MINES

ROOFTOP RESTORATION PROJECT AND DEVELOPMENT.

In order to preserve our local heritage, we want to put a roof on the wash of the Font des Mines and also to promote this communal property.

We have already started studies and had estimates prepared to carry out this task, in partnership with the municipality which is equally involved in this project. This operation will require a significant financial investment for an association and a municipality at a time when aid from the region or the department is in free fall.

Volunteering exists but will not be enough. Thus, any donation is welcome.
